Nice to meet you. Keep working the program...Alanon is great! I'm coming up on my 1 year anniversary. It is wonderful to speak directly with my Higher Power through the pains and healing of others in the program.

I signed up for the online meeting Sunday night. I hope I can figure out how to do it. I am a food addict. I am also a people addict (Alanon) and have several social addictions (shopping, people pleasing, working) but right now I am going to overeaters anonymous meetings. I am newer at this website than you, but I have been in recovery, off and on, for 19 years.
I hope to get to know you better. I can listen if you ever want to talk or need a shoulder to cry on, but I dont have answers anymore than anyone else. Higher Power is in charge of answers.
