Life is a wonderful thing. It is an amazing, miraculous gift that God has given us. For me, I need to remember just this; God has given me, to all of us, the gift of Life, furthermore a gift with no strings attached. How wonderful is that? How often in one's life is something like that offered without stipulation? For me, that gift freely given means everything to me, and I try to show my gratitude by living clean, and by showing love, patience, understanding and empathy to all areas of my environment, be it the people, the things, or the events that are part of my blessed life...all of it is miraculous and deserves my utmost care and respect. God bless you all, your lives, your loved ones and your experiences as you walk your paths.......xoxo Jen

HELLLOOO....A LADY FROM ONE OF MY MEETINGS, WHOM I DID NOT KNOW PERSONALLY, NOR CAN I EVEN REMEMBER HER FACE, DECIDED TO GO OUT AFTER 3 YEARS, AND DIED DAY BEFORE YESTERDAY...AFTER USING ONLY ONCE...SHE LEFT BEHIND TWO KIDS AND A HUSBAND...I DON'T BELIEVE SHE MEANT THINGS TO HAPPEN THIS WAY... I HAVE SPENT THE ENTIRE DAY GRIEVING FOR THIS PERSON, AND FEELING THE PAIN HER FAMILY MUST NOW BE FEELING... I BELIEVE THAT NOW THAT I AM CLEAN; WITH A SMALL AMOUNT OF TIME; THAT I HAVE CLEAR FEELINGS, AND THIS GRIEF I FEEL IS IN REALITY GRIEF AND MOURNING FOR ALL MY LOVED ONES THAT PASSED WHILE I WAS USING AND UNABLE TO FEEL THE PAIN AT THE TIME.... IT'S SO SAD THAT SOME HAVE TO GO OUT, AND EVEN DIE SO THAT OTHERS OF US CAN REMAIN IN THE ROOMS AND CLEAN... I HOPE WITH ALL MY HEART THAT I NEVER FORGET THIS REALIZATION, FOR WITH IT COMES NEW DETERMINATION TO STAY CLEAN FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE. WHEN I GO, I WANT TO BE CLEAN AND SOBER... THANKS TO GOD FOR THIS PROGRAM AND FOR HIS INCREDIBLE SELF... WHERE WOULD WE BE WITHOUT THIS COMBINATION...ME, I KNOW, I WOULD BE LOST, SPIRITUALLY EMPTY; A BLACK PIT, OR DEAD........ TONIGHT I THANK GOD I AM CLEAN, ALIVE AND HAVE THE CLARITY TO KNOW THE GIFTS THAT I HAVE BEEN GIVEN, AND AM NO LONGER EXISTING IN A BLACK, MISERABLE EMPTY PIT... There are a few legends of Saint Valentine, all unverifiable and shrouded in mystery. Most involve a sentimental priest in the early Roman Empire who rebelled against a law preventing soldiers from marrying. He took pity on young military men and their lady loves and secretly officiated at many forbidden weddings. His romantic, yet criminal acts were discovered and he was beheaded, but not before falling in love himself with his jailer's daughter to whom he wrote his last goodbye, signing it, "Your Valentine."
Other sources say the word Valentine contains the Latin root "valens," meaning "strong," and it could certainly be argued that for many of us in modern times, success-fully navigating this holiday requires all kinds of strengths: those of character, will, and emotion… Also, following the priniciples of “Tao”, there is a way things naturally unfold in the universe - "water flows downhill, trees grow upward, stars shine downward" and that by aligning yourself with this natural flow, you'll achieve far greater success than if you choose to energetically "push the river," or go against the laws of nature. This can be applied to romance, at least, I think so… I like these last two versions; they seem way more practical and reality based… So rock on all you romantics…there are always choices...and always remember (at least I always try to)…it’s OK to be your own Valentine first and formost… Happy Valentine's Day Jennifer xoxoxo

As we grow up, we learn that even the one person that wasn't supposed to ever let you down probably will. You will have your heart broken probably more than once and it's harder every time. You'll break hearts too, so remember how it felt when yours was broken. You'll fight with your best friend. You'll blame a new love for things an old one did. You'll cry because time is passing too fast, and you'll eventually lose someone you love. So take time to enjoy the moment, share the laughter in your soul, and love like you've never been hurt because every sixty seconds you spend upset is a minute of happiness you'll never get back.
