Beach meetings huh? Sounds cool. You free spirit you, How is the family?
I get to three meetings a week and have been extremely busy at work. The big personality has been trying my patience and I can hardly stand it. We tried an intervention-broke through a little. Progreess right?
I have yet to explore the outlying areas. I think we are doing Palm Spring soon,

Lost. I love that show!!
I'm just below Santa Cruz, in the Monterey Bay.
My job is going well. I'm making at least 2 meetings a week - those being on the beach Sat and Sun mornings. I now have 4 cars (in case one breaks). Really though, I bought 2 of them real cheap so I can sell them and make a buck. Life is really good. However, I know what happens when life gets good - I do something to screw it up. So I'm just trying to be real careful to not screw things up. So far so good.
How are you doing? What are you doing in Fallon and how did you get there?
Scary lost,
Keith
Sounds scary. Thought that you got lost.

Fallon... hmmm..... not sure where that's at, but yes, we are closer now. How ya been? I'm doing well.... almost too well. :-)
On the face of it, surrendering certainly does not seem like winning. But it is in A.A. Only after we have come to the end of our rope, hit a stone wall in some aspect of our lives beyond which we can go no further; only when we hit “bottom” in despair and surrender, can we accomplish sobriety which we could never accomplish before.
We must, and we do, surrender in order to win.
