All kinds of music depending on what I'm in the mood for.
< A Declaration of Unity
This we owe to A.A.'s future: To place our common welfare first; To keep our fellowship united. For on A.A. unity depend our lives, And the lives of those to come.

Meetings, working with others in the program, movies, dog park, hanging with friends in the fellowship. I also like doing step studies, and different groups that are focused on the 12 steps, traditions, & concepts.

Hi...My name is Sunshine, and I am a grateful recovering alcoholic/addict with all the ism's to go along with it! When I got to the rooms of AA I was desperate, and willing to go to any lengths. I had lost everything that ever mattered to me, including myself. I was trying to fill a void that could never be filled with drugs, alcohol, sex, food, etc.etc... Only God could fill it. A lot has changed since I got sober, and I believe everything happens for a reason. I'm still learning how to deal with life's unexpected changes, and how to forgive myself & others. I love AA, it is the easier, softer way. Today I do my best to live by the principles, and keep an open mind. I have so much gratitude for this program & I take it very seriously, because it saved my life. I never valued life before, and I took everything for granted. Today I put my sobriety first no matter what, and I have choices IF I don't pick up. My primary purpose is to stay sober, and to help other alcoholics to achieve sobriety. I still struggle from time to time, but nothing like I used too. It's funny how it works when I work it!! I also recently started working the steps in Al-Anon...my sponsor always says if you're not growing you're going... so I guess I'm gonna keep growing. Peace.
P.S. Yes, my real name is Sunshine just incase you wondered. God Bless.
