I love to sing & am involved in a recovery choir in the metro Atlanta area. Twice a year, we go to a 4-H Camp called Rock Eagle located in Eatonton, GA. and participate in a Women's Recovery Worksop (W.R.W.). We sing alot of recovery related songs & I love the women that I sing with. We are known as the "Step Sisters". I sing Soprano to First Soprano (on a good day!)

The Big Book, Twelve & Twelve. Meditations, Books on CD

Adventure, Romance, Comedy, alittle Horror

Tennis, Crocheting, Knitting, Scrapbooking, my pets, gardening, biking, walking, hiking, to name a few.

I am an honest, caring, genuine, generous, attractive female who is most definitely a Friend of Bill W.

I can be silly, down to earth, and love to laugh. I appreciate the little things in life like my wonderful dogs & cats, a beautiful sunset, enjoying the magnificent scenery that my Higher Power has designed for me to experience and see one day at a time.

I try not to take life too seriously but also know that life can be fleeting. I don't want to waste my day away by wondering about what could have been or what will happen tomorrow. I have today and that is all that really matters.

I hope that anyone who visits my page will enjoy what they have read and seen. I would really like to make some new friends in recovery to enlarge my network. As far as I'm concerned, you can never have too much recovery! I wish everyone happiness, peace and serenity. God Speed!

I enjoy being outdoors and am up for new experiences. I love day trips, weekend trips, the beach, and the mountains. I absolutely love to travel!

I love my dogs and cats as I have 2 Dogs & 4 Cats! I am a big animal lover and feel that my pets are like my children as I have never had kids. My pets are so full of love and are very unconditional with their love!

I also enjoy photography. I love taking candid pictures of people, beautiful scenery, of my dogs, cats, etc. I am not a professional, but just enjoy it. Thank God for Digital Cameras!

Whiners and complainers, arrogance, conceit, Large Egos (Easing God Out) of their lives, procrastination (something that I suffer from, lol)

Laurel,

Who shall separate us
from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation,
or distress, or persecutions, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written, for thy sake we are killed all the day long; we
are accounted as sheep for the slaughter [Psalms 44:22]. Nay, in
all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. For I am persuaded
,
that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor
things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other
creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ
Jesus our Lord.  --Paul  [Romans 8:39]

Have a blessed
day!
--john
