KISS!!!! followed by Nirvana and Rush tied for #2 and Social Distortion a solid 3rd. It gets very eclectic after that. From Prokofiev to Gordon Lightfoot, if it is good I like it. Frank Zappa, Kansas, and early Floyd cannot be put in any category. Some Big Band and OTR. THE POGUES!!!!!!!!!!!! Believe it or not, I was at Bob Marley's last concert. Some of the older kids (I was 14) asked me if I wanted to go. I was heavily into punk and metal (then as now but me musical horizons have expanded considerably). I had heard a good bit of his stuff once Joe Strummer cited him as an influence, so I went. Little did any of us know it was the last. So for the millions of deluded souls who claim they were there, I was.

Ed Wood, crappy cult classics, Foreign Zombies, etc. 1970's exploitation has a big place in me heart. Makes me feel like a teenager again, without the need for chemicals or booze. Remember "Squirm"? For better or worse, they really do not make them like that anymore. "The Shawshank Redemption", from me own experience, was VERY realistic. Except the part about guards and the warden ever facing justice, heh heh, which only happens in movies and/or to any guard that snitches on the corrupt ones.

Any Arthur C. Clarke, James Michener, but cheesy sci-fi and WW II adventure are me guilty pleasures. Not that all science fiction is cheesy, far from it. Good science fiction is simply good fiction. Also, James Clavell is incredible. If I could write a paragraph as well as he does, I will die a happy man. I'm also a Kafka fanatic. Ditto Isaac Singer. "The Secret Life of Algernon Pendleton" should be required reading in this country.
