In the work I do, and in dealing with people searching for a better life, at start of transforming life, many love to blame “people, places and things” for their problems. I know, because I was guilty. “If only”, “if so and so didn’t”, “I wasn’t responsible”, “it was so and sos’ fault/job/responsibility”, “if they hadn’t of said/done”, “they/nobody understands me (I’m unique)” and on and on. We bear the burdens and go to our own cross! Others were responsi... Read More
Got a great buy on an art book from a Barnes and Noble gift certificate today on Salvidor Dali....Noted for his strange Surrealism in the art world with melting clocks and bizarre imagery, he is a gifted forward thinking artist that knows about recovery, change, and healing. I uploaded a painting of his at this site entitled, "Geopoliticus Child Watching the Birth of the New Man, 1943." Again, sounds strange, but as you look at the painting and hear his words, and think of your own recove... Read More
VALUE RELATIONSHIPS! When I get gems from third parties, they often jog something inside of me that I simply haven’t given conscious thought to for a while. It has been unseasonably warm here, and we slept with our bedroom window open. I was awoken yesterday by the horn of a commuter train somewhere before 6 in the morning. After meditation, I had what was a “normal” morning, and joined friends for lunch. After lunch we hit a few golf balls and I came back to the offic... Read More
I have thoroughly enjoyed (and will continue until it’s over) my journey on www.oprah.com through Tolle’s “A New Earth”. I can relate to most of what he’s talking about! Today, at noon, I attended a meeting based on 12 steps for recovery. It was a new meeting, and on the wall, of the Lutheran church basement, were some principals they have for living. And gosh knows, I’ve read enough Law of this and Power of that, I know of secrets, and a ton of other stuff and have been exposed t... Read More
