Your Inner Purpose-A New Earth Chapter 9
Posted On 04/30/2008 08:13:24 by KeithB
Recovery is a spiritual journey. I have found that A New Earth has helped me to clarify some ofmy thinking. Chapter 9 was a great chapter, all of us in recovery want to know our purpose in life, and Tolle hits on some key stuff!
Your Inner Purpose We can only live now, in this very moment. My inner purpose is to be in conscious contact with the spirit of the universe (god) at this given moment. My inner purpose, while connected, is totally different from my outer purpose (work, job, relation... Read More

A Clear Monday-I'm Ready

Where has the time gone? It’s amazing how time flies by when your in the game of life and not sitting on the sidelines. I sit here after a medical first thing this morning, and realizing I have not journalled since last Thursday and much has happened! In the work I do, and in dealing with people searching for a better life, at start of transforming life, many love to blame “people, places and things” for their problems. I know, because I was guilty. “If only”, “if so and so didn’t”, “I wasn’t responsible”, “it was so and sos’ fault/job/responsibility”, “if they hadn’t of said/done”, “they/nobody understands me (I’m unique)” and on and on. We bear the burdens and go to our own cross! Others were responsi... Read More

Art Imitating Life

Got a great buy on an art book from a Barnes and Noble gift certificate today on Salvidor Dali....Noted for his strange Surrealism in the art world with melting clocks and bizarre imagery, he is a gifted forward thinking artist that knows about recovery, change, and healing. I uploaded a painting of his at this site entitled, "Geopoliticus Child Watching the Birth of the New Man, 1943." Again, sounds strange, but as you look at the painting and hear his words, and think of your own recove... Read More
