I have forgiving others on my brain tonight...it is soooo intricate for our healing and for our sobriety and for our growth. It is so powerful. I am reminded of forgiveness phrases, like:
To Forgive Another is to set a prisoner free and realize that prisoner is me...Forgiving is for giving....To truly forgive someone is to treat them the way our Higher Power treats us, as if it never happened.
Perhaps the power released through forgiveness is equal to the shame and burden...
