Seeing The Past
Posted On 07/21/2008 07:51:35 by KeithB
Seeing The Past -flashback to my 20’s, it’s not me today   I went to a concert over the weekend to see Credence Clearwater Revival, or what’s left of the group. The music was great, it really was good old rock and roll, but the feelings were funny! There was a lot of gray hair in the crowd, including my gray hair. When some of the great old chart toppers were played, there were a number of people up and trying to move like they did in the “70’s. Much of it was not a pretty s... Read More

Are You A Good Listener? -it is a learned skill   I was a school day yesterday amongst other things. Thursday is a day I continue to take to focus on my own personal development. It feels good to know that you went out and did the best you could, competed fairly and honestly, and enjoyed every thing that was around and stayed clean and sober. I am filled with gratitude and do remember when! I remember well when an even... Read More

Can You Help??   A weekend is in process, and I pray that my golf game gets better. It’s a wonderful journey when the worst thing you have to worry about is your golf game. Friday, I played the worst round I’ve played in years, and didn’t even mutter a curse word. I may be getting too mellow! I did feel gratitude for the day, the company and the surroundings! I have been journaling for years and publishing my journals on a regular basis as a blog for some time. I do this as a pa... Read More

Getting In Your Own Way. Do You??

Getting In Your Own Way. Do You??
A Thought: Limited expectations yield only limited results.

Our thoughts determine our actions, and when our thoughts are negative, our successes are few. What we hold in our mind is certain to be reflected in the day's activities. And we are capable of fueling our thoughts positively, if we choose to.
Positive self-assessment and uplifting pep talks can become habitual if our desire to live up to our potential is great enou... Read More
