Mostly everything from old blues like Muddy Waters to old punk like The Wipers or Social Distortion, to weird stuff like Dinosaur Jr., The Breeders, or funky stuff like Hobex to many classic genres led by those like Zeppelin, Floyd, Hendrix, Dylan, and Young to progressive like Rush, Yes, and (modern) Dream Theater to metal like Zakk and Black Label Society and most everything else in between.

I despise country, "hip hop", and the Grateful Dead... I generally dislike pop/top 40 but can tolerate it... Classical music is ok, at least for background noise.

I rarely read but pretty much it's only two very different authors, Orson Scott Card and Stephen King.

Horror, Zombie genre, Comedy. I generally dislike Drama/Romantic but some are ok... Action is ok, Martial Arts is better... I believe movies are more interesting when it's something that *doesn't* happen in real life, hence how I dislike Drama/Romantic.

None since my marriage... : Previously, kayaking, percussion (ex: I was in a garage band), and VB6 programming.

A big long story for another time, I should say at least that I am married but recently separated (involuntary) and have a beautiful 1.5 year old boy. I miss BOTH my wife and child dearly. I suspect I am codependent, have a minor alcohol problem (used to be a major one, likely soon to be again,) I am severely introverted, suffer from a major general anxiety about pretty much everything, and have other misc. emotional issues.

Not even sure anymore...
