I love so many types of music from alternative, rock, country, some hip hop, alternative, R & B, jazz, old school and contemporary christian music...music tells a story for me and I remember the times of my life thru music...music is what feelings sound like :D

I read this at a meeting years ago...it was lying on a table next to me at a meeting when I was going thru one of my darkest hours...It was the "Godshot" I needed to make it thru and since that time I have kept it close to my heart :)

Broken Dreams

As children bring their broken toys with tears for us to mend,
I brought my broken dreams to God because he was my friend.
But then instead of leaving Him in peace to work alone,
I hung around and tried to help with ways that were my own.
At last I snatched them back and cried, "How could you be so slow?"
