i was raised in a Christian home... but there was a lot of emotional trauma.. and some physical abuse... even some sexual.
My Dad died when i was 10. I am the only girl, and "Daddy's Girl", I worshipped my Dad.. when he died, i thought my world would come apart. For the rest of my life, it seems, i looked...for Dad...
as i said in a poem

You left me... Alone... to fabricate a fantasy of the man you could not have been, but you were, Daddy.
and i looked.. forever searching for a man to be you, any man to be you... to hold the little girl and wipe the tears away...
I learned to matter... i learned that i could make men happy... and that i would matter... i also learned Shame... I MADE MEN BAD... I made them DO things or feel things, therefore i must meet there needs...
My struggle with the pain of addictive personality type (Borderline Personality Disorder with Chronic Depression) is on-going. My faith in my Higher Power... God the Father... Jesus, and Spirit... wavers at times... but is my Health.
Philipians 1:6 "being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.

My first grandbaby just came home from 6 weeks in the hospital yesterday, after being born 8 weeks premature.
