My name is Jim. Im an alcoholic, marijuana addict and have a mild case of the "too much fun" syndrome. My sobriety date is September 21st, 2007. I became involved in a 12 step program following a court conviction in July of 2007 and havent looked back since.

Enjoy the outdoors, American History, environmentalism, some politics, going to meetings and my aftercare treatment groups. I have many newfound intrests since becoming sober including: music composition, drawing, painting, learning Tagalog, bowling, billiards and geaneology.

negative thinking, racism, sexism, large ego's, religious fanatics, material obsessors.. Since becoming sober, I have learned to practice more tolerance towards people and things I encounter, but I do strongly dislike anyone or anything which comprimises my sobriety.
