Big Book of AA
The Big Book of AA was written early last century. I have researched a lot of the current science about addiction and still am in awe of how those early AAers were able to capture the essence of alcoholism. The language may be a little archaic (I actually love it), but the fundamentals of alcoholism have never been better described.

New Group

I decided to create this group because I did a search for alcoholic groups and didn't come up with much.

I have had multiple addictions throughout my drinking/using years, but in doing my inventory I have realized that I am alcoholic more than anything. I was able to stop using all narcotics/drugs on my own except for alcohol. Sometimes I think the Big Book was specifically written for me! :) Anyway this group is for one and all to share ES&H with each other that we may solve our common problem and recover from alcoholism. Enjoy!

Big Book
I agree how amazingly revelant the BB is, truly inspired.  It just seems like things that I need and apply keep popping out.  It really is an inspired work.
