Really turning it over and letting go

Sometimes stress catches up- Too many loose ends - too many deadlines...

Our Friends& Family Picnic, is an annual event- we took it over 15 years ago

( ?) Plus my 2 ponies were coming home yesterday!

I had a zillion things to get finished "By noon"... Well, started praying the day

before- and in comes my foster daughter & her boy friend. Bundles of

20-something energy- zip! fence is finished- zip, horse trailer is empty &

moved. You get the idea! the electric fencer, couch, etc. I was truelly blessed-

(one foot in front of the other)

THEN picnic: food set up/tables/ tent/ -you name it...In march some

program friends-" You look stressed" they say- ( I was feeling better-

comparitively) and picked up more slack in the kitchen, so we could figure out

tables, chairs etc.

Then Ponies came!   trekked up the hill & settled in beautifully- (lovely friend

had brought them over for me)

Friends & family came- bringing food, chairs & umbrellas (against the rain-)

eating got shifted from tent out back to the new unfinished barn -

It has been christened!

Miracles truelly happen- you really do not get 'more than you can handle'

on a daily basis when you ask for help, do the foot work, let go (and then)

say Thankyou!          Blessings,  Nia

Yep, Uh Huh, For Sure

That's a fact. The only time things get out of hand is when they are in mine. Not the technical part, that discipline is fairly well cut and dried. It's the people and the vagaries of life that I screw up when I try to "deal" with them and it.
The sad part is I now know better - If I could just convince my ego...

Thanx
Dennis
