Am I the only one?

It seems I have been coming across empty or 3/4 empty baggies on the street.. frequently.

Am I the only one noticing these?

I don't think I'm looking for them..

Just saw one about 10 minutes ago, thoughts of kicking it to the street came, thoughts of picking it up and throwing it out came- but I know just holding it in my hand would conjure up the old feelings.

I did nothing, ignored it, but I've been obsessing...

you r not alone...

hi I'm an addict, I wanted to tell you that i was walking when it was not so hot this summer, i would walk threw neighborhoods and by the neighborhood high school i would always find baggies and broken pipes. i used to trip the F**k out cause i was new in recovery and i really didnt want to use cause i am a recyled mirical. this is my 5th time attending NA meetings and my 2nd time actually tring to work my program. well and i just really feel that i am done with using. but you know the hardest thing for me while i was walking, was seeing cars that where unlocked and purses inside and not being able to touch them because i dont want to go to jail. it took me my first 5 monthes clean to stop shoplifting and 4 monthes to stop tricking, it is really weird to find out that after we stop using, the behaviors dont just disappear. it is really interesting to learn about myself and to understand that the broader the base the higher the point of freedom! Also it is cool to realise that working the steps opens my eyes to what is really going on in my life.
thank you for listening....and i would love to hear others comments.
