I recorded the first part of this series last night on HBO and am actually currently watching it.  I've watched many shows about addiction but this is actually a really really good one. I've expressed before about how I feel about the show "Intervention", it does yes touch upon addiction and pushes to send the person to rehab but all the drug use during the show triggers me worse than anything I can thing of!  But this show is very informative of different treatments and I'm so intrigued by it.  I've never seen a "documentary" like it.  If anyone has the chance please watch it, its on HBO and its 9 part , also if you have comcast theirs some things under HBO On Demand and at HBO.com.  I really advise everyone who can to watch it, I really think its great, it helps me understand my addiction and I get to see other peoples stories and their recovery.  That's what makes it different it focus' on the informing people on the disease of addiction and also focus' on recovery.  If anyone saw the espisode last night tell me what you think!

I just checked the guide and it says its on channel 302 which is HBO2E or something like that (there's so many channels!) but it says it's on this morning from 10:30 -12:00pm, I'd imagine its the same one from last night

I started watching the HBO special, I did not get to finish, but I am sure it will be on again, I will record it.  From what I saw, it was pretty good.

Yeah I talked all that about it in my inttial post but I watched the entire show and it was informative about a lot of new and old drugs, I thought it would've went in a different direction from the way it sounded on the previews.  It got kinda boring towards the middle but it gave a lot of info on methadone and suboxone which was cool because so many people having horrible thoughts about them (my family included). So maybe it shed some light

I still stand my ground with my opinion of Intervention, I realize it's made for TV and they want viewers and all but I just can't watch it because of the illicit drug use that it shows, OMG do you know how I feel watching a guy or girl smoke crack or shoot up, I want to run out the door and use after I see that.  Who gives a darn what they're talking about I'm not hearing anything my head is filled up with its own dialogue at that point, I don't know if anyone else agrees with me but it's a huge trigger to watch that show.
