Hi! I heard reference to a life list or lifeline list on one of my group forums. I was wondering what this was? A friend with AA experience said it had to do with supportive people, but does this mean only program people? also only people in *one* program if you are part of several, or *your* program(s)?
thank you~

Dancer - No, it doesn't have to just be members of the fellowship. It can be anyone you can call that will talk you out of doing sumething really dumb or take you to a meeting, sit with you and work through it. Dunks are just usually best working with other drunks... YFIR, Dennis

Gotcha- Thanks! I can really see the benefits of "drunks working with other drunks" etc though too. I recently found a member of a sister group who was talking about how for her it was "only an addiction" and she did not see/could not relate to any of the emotional triggers I was dealing with. While I did not share my fellowships, it reminded me why there may be so many of them!
