Recently I was asked what career I wanted.
I said I want to be a Paralegal.  Here's the rub.  I am allergic to paperwork.  It litterally gives me anxiety attacks and migraines.  I can only handle a small amount.  Also working a regular 40 hour job boxes me in and causes panic attacks and migraines.

Why would I even entertain a career that involves paperwork and a set time schedule, plus usually overtime?

What am I trying to prove to myself, to others by even intertaining the idea?

btw I can not take the meds for anxiety attacks/depression very long, because I can not handle the side effects.  I'm tired of being a human pincushion so to speak.

thanks, Shannon

Is it possible the desire for the paralegal profession is a way to look towards overcoming an issue with regimentation and fixed (but confusing) authority? It is a definite quandry.

Who asked you "Recently I was asked what career I wanted."
Being a Paralegal would be rather confining. And if ya catch vibes easily a lawyers office might not be a serene location.

What other options are available?
