All kinds - if the song is good, its good.

Tell all autobiographies by rock stars.

Too many to list.

Playing guitar, watching TV, reading books, exercising, going to meetings, etc.

Get your own countUP widget at Blixy.comI am in my 3rd year of recovery. The journey thus far has been amazing! It has been good most of the time, bad some of the time, and even ugly a couple times. That is ok!! This life is completely set apart from the old one. I am growing up on the fly at a rapid pace - always trying to find the silver lining in everything.

Honesty, humor, calmness, passion, wisdom, truth, kind-hearted people.

Liars, control freaks, drama lovers, poor hygiene, arrogance, and the typical stuff that any self-respecting person would be inclined to agree with.

Why, yes it does pay to hang in there. A coin a year with full benefits!

My heart overflows with feelings of gratiude for the very first gift God has given...His Son. It overflows with His love for all the recovering friends He placed in my life. May God continue to bless you, as you look to Him as your source of strength in this season of celebration. Merry Christmas!

When you meet a sober alcoholic

You meet a hero.
His mortal enemy slumbers within him;
He can never outrun his disability.
He makes his way through a world of alcohol abuse,
In an environment that does not understand him.
Society, puffed up with shameful ignorance,
Looks on him with contempt,
As if he were a second-class citizen
Because he dares to swim against the stream of alcohol.
But you must know:
No better people are made than this.

Friedrich von Bodelschwingh (1831-1910)
The most brilliant beggar in Germany
