This time of year
Posted On 10/31/2009 07:58:14 by Nia

Ok, today is when we turn the clocks back- and I would dearly love to have

a new plan of attack for heading in toward Winter...

I had a tough time staying positive and in the present yesterday- when my

Hubby cancelled our current health insurance saying" Maybe now we will

qualify  for Mass. Health" (-we earned too much last year, but now ---)

I have been praying, went to a meeting and reached out a bit about it...

I know quite a few people who are struggling around us- I am definitely not

alone !

There are steps I can take- my battle is to do it before I get further

depressed and immobilzed. I really need a new form of attack....

more courage, -new job, more support, something--     Prayers,   Nia

Nia...please know you are in my prayers. I read what Dennis said and agree with his words of wisdom. Sometimes life is hard and dession making even harder. That's when we have to take it to the Lord in prayer. I will always stand in prayer with you and for you my friend.

With God's love,

Nancy

Nia -

Qualifying for one of the Mass. health programs appears to be pretty straightforward, depending where you fit in relation to the FPL. But change is never as simple as it appears at first glance and cancelling one before guaranteeing another seems to be a bit reckless.

Nor is change comfortable. Changing insurance is a royal pain in the butt. Being at the mercy of our public servants is never a position I look to be in. But they are involved and I 'll be the first to admit that at least I have health care options, whereas other do not have that simple luxury.

If you agree that your spouse is doing what is in both of your best fiscal and medical interests, acceptance could be a start.  If not, try for a discussion of reasons and options. Attack the reason for the depression, my friend...

Hugs,

Dennis
