Last night I went to a Celebrate Recovery meeting. I usually go to NA and don't get me wrong I do love NA and I am very grateful to the support and recovery that I have gained through the NA program but the spiritual biblical guidance in Celebrate recovery was absolutely awesome. My God has been leading me to dig deeper in His word. So I am writing this blog to encourage you in your recovery that if you feel the urge from God to dig deeper into what He is leading you to do, don't put it off. if you are involved in any 12 step program then you know that somewhere along the way there is supposed to be a spiritual awakening and wow let me tell you when there is if you listen, God will talk to you (and the voice of the spirit is real it's not just in your head LOL) and lead you to a deeper understanding of serenity and goodness. Seek to know Him in more ways then you have ever tried before. Dont just settle for "playing church", dig deep in His word, meditate daily and open your mind and heart to His instruction but most importantly when He leads you to do something don't resist Follow His instruction. Remember that you have a purpose and if you let God use you then you will fulfill that purpose. Thanks for your attention and may God bless you on your journey
