A MESS!! I am!

Crying, trying, praying! My husband leaves tomorrow for 16 weeks for Calvary Trooper training!! I'm so glad I know god, and trying to live in the moment but he's just leaving, am I selfish? We have a 4 y/o daughter, that I HAVE To pick up all the pieces when it finally hits hr that daddy's NOT coming home tonight or the next 120 nights.....I feel SOOOOO  ALONE, I feel like he's pushing himself away before he's even gone...

I am ok, I will NOT turn to the evil one!! I just feel alone!! :[

You are not alone! Concious contact on a daily basis with your HP will help carry you, and there are a pile of us here and at meetings! You are truly never alone. You'll grow. You'll rise to the challenges and become a more complete person!

No sweetie, you aren't selfish, you're human! Everyone on this site can relate to feeling alone, it isn't fun, but you will get through it because you are a strong woman:)

I am sorry you are having such a hard time. I don't know that specifics, but it just sounds like you are going to miss him and that is human, not selfish IMO.

Things will be hard to adjust to at first but you are not alone. God is with you and your daughter, and it is probably hard on him being away from you both as well. 16 weeks will fly by and he will be home again....you'll see. In the meantime, we're all here for you anytime...
