Over the past couple weeks I have been thinking of what my life was like a year ago.  I was in a very dark place back then.  I really dont know if I could get any lower than where I was.  Over the course of my life I have said and done some things that I am not very proud of.  I have hurt many people, especially my family.  On thursday I turned 1yr old in my new life.  See that is one year since I took my last drink(alcohol).  This accomplishment is something that I am very proud of.  I have made it through a lot of different obstacles since I sobered up.  I know now that I can get through anything that comes my way without taking a drink if I stay intouch with the program and a Higher Power.  So thank you all who have supported me over the last year.  I can not say enough about the fellowship of Alcoholics Anonymous.  So thank you to all who came before and after me.  Without the people around the tables and online, I honestly dont think I can stay sober.  Love To All--Jeff W. I can relate with you so well. A recovering alcoholic myself, I'm so grateful for my 2 + years.  I, like you, didn't stop before the miracles happened. I'm glad we are sober and I'm glad we can stay away from that "first drink".  I'm here for you and support you all the way!
