Over the past couple weeks I have been thinking of what my life was like a year ago. I was in a very dark place back then. I really dont know if I could get any lower than where I was. Over the course of my life I have said and done some things that I am not very proud of. I have hurt many people, especially my family. On thursday I turned 1yr old in my new life. See that is one year since I took my last drink(alcohol). This accomplishment is something that I am very proud of. I have made it through a lot of different obstacles since I sobered up. I know now that I can get through anything that comes my way without taking a drink if I stay intouch with the program and a Higher Power. So thank you all who have supported me over the last year. I can not say enough about the fellowship of Alcoholics Anonymous. So thank you to all who came before and after me.
