So...the month of September continues to get better (note the sarcasm). Found out last night that one of my best friends is in the ICU. Lately, she's been depressed and suicidal; so suicidal infact that she spent the night with me because she didn't trust herself to be alone. My last drink was Feb 7th this year. Lately (last 2 months or so) I'm finding that I'm unhappy most of the time. I want to drink often, and while the feelings around that are not necessarily getting worse, they're coming more frequently and they're lasting longer. I'm feeling this right now. I can already tell that today is going to be a bad day. I've been fighting with the JCCC enrollment website since last night, trying to get enrolled in summer classes. I tried enrolling at 12am and was informed that the server would be down until 2am. Tried again at 2:30 to no avail (not like I need the sleep or anything). Tried again at 7:30 and it still wouldn't work, so I tried to call the enrollment office, and they weren't open yet. Finally a little after 8am I got enrolled. My hard... Read More
