I live in a 'dry house' having completed 3 month treatment programme in early June.Was street homeless through my drinking up until treatment.I have 2 children I have not seen for 3 years. My boys do not want to see me yet. I write to their Mum occasionally so they know I am still sober. Am now a full time voluntary worker. Go to AA twice a week. Find it helpful meeting other alcoholics, especially since I live in a new area and have no contact with anyone from 'before'. Am here for support and to help other newcomers, if I can. I struggle with my sobriety/self a lot, and I have heard good things about this site. I'm glad to be here - Though not yet grateful. Sorry.
