I was born and raised in Georgia. I had the perfect life! I married my highschool sweetheart and we have been married for almost 20 years. We have 2 boys ages 14 and 17. Live on nice property with horses and nice home and my husband is self employed and we have been blessed. I had an injury that lead to surgery and i became addicted to pain meds. Anonymity is very important to me and I have never had a problem with alcohol - ive only been drunk like 2 times in my life. I have never done any other drugs of any sort. The pain pills got me. I am currently undergoing treatment and recovery and my clean date is 3/13/07. I am taking a medication to help with withdrawals so my body did not go into shock and it is working miracles. Before the med's i thought i was dying and actually wanted to. I hid my addiction from everyone even my husband so my admitting my problem was a true SHOCK. He is supportive and the few friends and family that do know are supportive as well. I love this site - with the anonymity I can find comfort here and appreciate all of you guys for the support! I know that with GOD all things are possible and I am determined to recover and rejoice and meet some great people along the way.
