25 years of active addiction left me alone in the bottom of a bottomless pit with nowhere to look but up. Having finally come to the end of myself, God revealed hiimself and gave me a rope with 12 knots on it. With the help of my God, an open mind, honest and willing, and the experience strength and hope offered so freely and generously by my brothers and sisters in NA, I was finally able to pull myself out of the darkness. I now seek to carry the message to the addict who still suffers through service.
