I grew up on 60's and 70's Rock-n-Roll so that will be with me for life, But I have found and love Ambient music:
Jon Serris
Patrick O'Hern
Kataro
Enya
Afro Celt Sound System
and there are many more

The Greatest Miracle in the World

Hitch Hikers Guide To the Galaxy

all of Abraham Maslow's writings

and The Urantia Book

I love Si-Fi:
Dune (the Original), Firer Fly's (Serenity). O yes, I loved all 3 of the LORD OF THE RINGS.
also MATRIX.

Learning Guitar at the moment, I have written a few songs as well.

I am open to new experiences, so if I am not doing it right now, I most likely will before i die...LOL

I can claim no religion Because my relationship with God has grown beyond any religion. and I think that is how it is suppose to be.

Every day I am sober I know that it is by the grace of God as I have grown to know.

After about 9 years of sobriety ( I believe that was 1994) I was offered a job as a Substance abuse counselor, I may not make much money at it, but I can't see a better fit for every thing my life has been about and grown to.

Now: do I think I have all the answers, No; this job has giving me one true understanding and that is I have so much to learn that I will die before I have it all down. :)

I love the Mountains, I lived in San Bernardino California for about 1 year, Hiking and discovering all the things I missed out on living in Texas.

I than move to Colorado.
I live in Netherland and after a year moved down to Boulder, and hope to return some day.

I love life and I see every thing as one big journey to understanding our selfs in relationship with God the Universe and everything.

Before I was sober I was paid to make persons understand there errors of there ways. I am now unwilling to watch fights and give off the impression that I would hurt a fly.

I know many love the new M.M.A. movement that is sweeping across this country, but to me it is the lowest form of human expression.

I walked away from violence and finally see it as a block between me and my personal growth as a Humanbeing and a Child of the First Cause and Center of all things.

Hey- I read what you wrote about work and step 3- I can say: Pray, do the foot work,  become willing and openminded

as only the dying can be- say thank you as often as you can remember to-and go to meetings ! Nia
