Music...
I like alot of different music. Skillet, Third Day, Thousand Foot Krutch, SonicFlood, Relient K, As Cities Burn, Anberlin, Rise Against. I grew up loving mostly punk influences, like NOFX, Bouncing Souls, Green Day, ect. I still like alot of the same, but I def have a mellow side-- plumb is good for that. I am also a big Bob Marley fan. My daughter Kaya is named after one of his songs ;)

Hi, My name is Lauren and I'm 27 years old and from Illinois. I am a tobacco (cigarette) addict, and I have been smoking since I was 19. I am what they call a "chain smoker". This is really the first time I have seriously wanted to commit to being smoke free since I started, but I feel miserable and have no energy anymore... I know it is time to stop, I cannot take it anymore.
Things have gotten much worse in the past three years, I am a College student/Computer Science Major... and I turn to cigarettes to relieve stress from school and family. I am an honor student, but the pressure to keep this status has really escalated my smoking. I often feel like I am trying to juggle a million things at once. Health issues definitely scare me the most, I am a mother of three and I want to be around to see my children grow up. I have developed a horrible cough that comes and goes, sometimes to the point that I cannot sleep at night. There is a history of addiction within my family, both my father and sister are recovering addicts and my sister has been clean and sober for three years now. Nice to meet everyone, good luck to all :)

Just Updating...
I have successfully quit smoking, and it has been quite a while now. I have to say, I feel REALLY good. I am still in school, and trying to work through some behavioral patterns I have learned about through the past several months. I needed a bit of a "change of pace" this semester in school, so I am taking a group guitar class. I have been playing on my own for years now... but it is time to learn from someone else : )
