Hopefully I have just retired. I have worked in the chemical dependency field for ten years-I need a break. While working I returned to school and earned numerous CD certifications, a BA, and just recently my masters in counseling- MFT. I love tennis and play in tournments, working on the weight, and lately I have taken to collecting some art work

I love to talk and discuss different points of view concerning the disease of addiction, (medical model) and what 12-step presents, or just your thoughts regarding the subject.
I enjoy television and going to movies. I have just started going to some plays.
Hi Vince I am not sure if I have the right answer you are looking for. But if we go back when A.A. was started it was one drunk helping another drunk, experience strengh and hope. Why because we understand one another. I believe allot of ppl suffering from the dieses dont accept the education because they feel that this instructors or counselors dont understand because some of them have no clue what it's like being an addict.
