Inner Beauty., Caregivers Anonymous

For about 10 years now, I have been struggling with disordered eating. I switch between anorexia type behaviors and over-exercising. As I get older, and the more I fight this, the more often I have good days/weeks. But unfortunately, the habits creep back in and before I realize it, I'm back to where I started. I am hoping that with the support on here that I can have more and more good days.

Anything non-school/non-work related. Whether it's a lazy day at home or an action packed weekend, you can always count me in. I love change and I love trying new things.

School and work because they stress me out and can be triggers for my bad days. I also dislike fake people, dishonesty, disrespect and anyone who thinks they are better than everyone else.

Welcome to our sharing and caring-a great place for support!

Saw your brief post about never 'good enough'-I am here to let you know this can change but it requires vigilance and courage. Self image takes time to change, but it is possible!  try visiting the " Hazeldon" web site and check out some of the daily Meditation books- I found much help and comfort from some of their womens material-         Nia

Hello,
Thanks for joining the Caregivers Anonymous Group.  I am hoping that many other folks will discover how the 12 Step Program can help those who are in caregiving situations.  I am just learning myself.  Thank you for sharing about yourself.  I am a recovering compulsive overeater.  That was my first 12 Step Program.  Overeaters Anonymous has been life changing for me.  I should join the online group.  My name is Dawn.  Thanks again.  Hope you are having a great day.
