Im commited to my sobriety but my wife is a stay at home mom and my income is crutial. I wish I could manage something like that but it would put my families life in ruins more than I have made it. I appreciate the information. I will keep plugging along and get there in one piece if possible.  Hope your evening is going well  Stew

Hi Stew,
I went to a treatment program.  30 days.  I did a medical detox.  It is god-awful to do without meds.  They used Subutex.  After the 30 day inpatient, I went into a sober living house (SLE) and stayed there 6 weeks.  I also did an IOP (Intensive Outpatient Program) which lasted over 9 months - 3 nites a week - 3 hours a nite.  I was committed. I also did a ton of meetings - AA, NA - whatever.  I just went.  Hope that helps.

Hi Stew,
My weekend was good and the week has been busy so far.  It's Wednesday nite and this is the first time I've logged in since Friday!  lol.  I do a lot of stuff these days - I do drug and alcohol intake on a corporate level, I left my high tech job to be more "of service."  I have 3 kids - 18, 16 and 11.  My 16 lives with me FT and my 11 is with me half time.  I also teach music lessons - I play fiddle and piano - and I sing in a barbershop quartet.  I also do a lot of meetings in my copious spare time.  Any time you need a pep talk you let me know and I will be happy to oblige.  Trudy
