Your biggest challenge isn't someone else. It's the ache in your lungs and the burning in your legs, and the voice inside you that yells 'CAN'T', but you don't listen. You just push harder. And then you hear the voice whisper 'can'. And you discover that the person you thought you were is no match for the one you really are. Dare to be you.

Status: I am "Fellowship friendly", the 12 steps are based on spiritual principles not one fellowship or another. It is all about RECOVERY. I am so saddened when someone is belittled in a meeting or won't go back, because of "how they shared"!? What if God dismissed, thought less of or rejected us for how we prayed? Sharing experience, strength and HOPE is what we need and less "uniqueness in our powerlessness". I am powerless over many things yet freed of the bondage of addiction and I thank God every day for a program of recovery and understanding people in my life. With God and them, I AM recovering and truly blessed.
