In recovery for bulimia & alcoholism. Determined to not lose one more minute of my life to addictions... NOT FUN. I've had severe body image issues, to the point that I skipped class to hide myself & dropped out of university & colleges. Body image is improving but still a struggle. It's the darn perfectionism thing. Binging is my #1 struggle- my WORST addiction that just kills me on the inside. I'm working on it tho. I did 1-month intensive treatment in Oct 07, recovered before relapsing again Jan 08. I've been in therapy for a year but I saw my therapist as a father figure, got WAYYY too attached, which interfered w/ recovery. So I cant see him anymore- SUCKS but probably necessary. I'm in the process of finding myself a new therapist & I've learned from my previous recovery mistakes. I'm SO ready for the REAL recovery this time!
