I HAD BEEN TRYING TO RUN AWAY FROM A VERY HURTFUL PAST WITH ALCOHOL. I'M RELIZING THAT I HAVE TO STOP. I HAVE TO HELP MYSELF BEFORE I CAN HELP OTHERS. I'M IN EXTENSIVE THERIPY AND REALIZE I HAVE TO COME TO TURMS WITH MY PAST BEFORE I CAN HAVE A BETTER FUTURE. I'M JUST DOING THE BEST I CAN NOW: KNOWING THAT ALCOHOL OR ANY OTHER WAY OF ADDICTION IS A SYMPTIOM. WORKING WITH LAURA (MY THERIPIST IS A GOD SEND AND, ALL MY AWESOME FRIENDS HERE ARE HELPING ME THROUGH THE UNDERSTANDING I GET FROM THEM. GOD BLESS AND HELP US ALL FROM SELF DISTRUCTING CHOICES WE MAKE!!! TIME TO BE HONEST WITH MYSELF AND THOSE WHO HELP ME SO MUCH HERE. Sorry it took so long for me to respond, but I was in bed most of the day. Just having some pain in my back and stomach. I was suppose to go to therapy yesterday and they forgot to pick me up. They dropped my insurance so I have no medical at all now! Got a urinary tract infection so I just been miserable. I appreciate your message, and caring enough to write! This too shall pass!! Just a bit of bad luck right now, but I'm hopeful it will work out eventually, it always does! Thanks again and huggers to you!

When I am disturbed, it is because I find some person, place, thing, or situation,some fact of my life, unacceptable to me, and I can find no serenity until I accept that person, place, thing, or situation as being exactly the way it is supposed to be at this moment. Nothing, absolutely nothing, happens in God's world by mistake.

There is nothing you need to get,find or acquire to be enlightened.You don't need a teacher or a guru.You don't need a priest or rabbi to intercede with God for you. You don't need a special technique ormeditation practice. You don't need to memorize scripture or engage inesoteric breathing practices.Look- ing for spirituality outside yourself is a dead end.
