The light of HP surrounds us.
The love of HP enfolds us.
The power of HP protects us.
The Presence of HP watches over us.
Wherever we are, our HP is and all is well.

It's always with excitement that I wake up in the morning
wondering what my intuition will toss up to me
like gifts from the sea. I work with it
and rely upon it. It's my partner.

Resentment is the mortar that holds

the bricks together in a wall of
alienation and despair.

When someone asks me to sponsor them,
it is an honor and a privilege.
Little do they know, that they are sponsoring me.
This is about the therapeutic value
of one person helping another.
Sponsorship is a two way street.
Having a relationship with your sponsor
is the only way to learn to live your life,
that you know nothing about.
A sponsor is only as good as your ability to use him/her.
If you don't call your sponsor, you don't have a sponsor.

Dear Friends in Recovery, I am so glad to be back on our site. I have
been with my dear sister who passed away on June 16th. She had a long
struggle with cancer. But thanks to a wonderful program I was able to
be with her the whole way. Thank God for A.A. and our new mind.
Terry

H) Honesty, Open-mindedness, and Willingness

I) Insanity is doing the same thing and expecting different results

J) Just for today

"It has often been said of A.A. that we are interested
only on alcoholism. That is not true. We have to get
over drinking in order to stay alive. But anyone who
knows the alcoholic personality by firsthand contact
knows that no true alky ever stops drinking permanently
without undergoing a profound personality change."

I drank....I drugged....and I lost.
I was chasing a shadow that I couldn't catch.
When I first started using it cost me a few dollars.
By the time I got here it nearly cost me my life.
I was chasing death and paying for it.
