I would re-arrange my skirt to give you the proper hello, however my skirt is barely there and my manners are almost non existent...I am by definition a bitch. By most definitions, insane. I have certain enemies who I would love to maim horribly and I have friends who I would die for. I am comfortable with who I am.
I am romantic, emotional, slightly neurotic with a hint of creative genius (sometimes).
I am stubborn, sarcastic and at times, cynical.
I am outgoing, bubbly, easily amused and love to joke around.
I am also moody, depressed and, at times, broken hearted.
I'm a 20-year-old sophomore majoring in Social Welfare, living in a very liberal, small Midwestern town.
The two major addictions I suffer from are self-injury and prescription pill addiction, although I have dealt on and off with anorexia for nearly seven years. I have many scars, both physical and emotional.
There are many sides of me, each playing an important role in some aspect of my life.
I may not be perfect and don't claim to be, but I am healing and I am making progress, and that is all that matters.
Words can be twisted words have different meaning for different people. Actions, admittedly, can be the same way but there seems to be less room for interpretation. So please, if you must judge me, keep the verdict to yourself.
I just got a new sponsor in Narcotics Anonymous and am re-working the steps with her (I'm on step 2 now). I just picked up a year clean from pills on January 18.
I haven't dealt with my anorexia in over two years.
I am still in the process of stopping my self-harm, but at this time, am still struggling with it on a nearly daily basis.
I went to treatment at the Menninger Clinic (I started out on the eating disorder unit and then moved to the young adult unit and had about 60 days clean when I got there) and have been clean ever since. I credit Menninger and NA to helping me stay clean.

And not let the small stuff and bulls**t bother me, so I do that too. Yesterday I got to go to a Detroit Tigers game, and I had a blast! It was last minute and I got off work to do it, and it was sooooo worth it, just what I needed:) I hope this finds you well. We are miracles.
