Between school and my internship, I stay very busy. On the weekends and in my free time I love to hang out with my friends, party, ride horses, and I also love black and white darkroom photography (I develop and print my own photos).

I have also done work for a number of non-profit organizations, such as the Arthritis Foundation, AFSP (American Foundation for Suicide Prevention) and NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness).

I also secretly have an unhealthy obsession with Mystery Science Theater 3000 (MST3k)...I'm a MSTie!

My name is Caitie and I'm 21. I have struggled with prescription pill addiction (mainly painkillers), drinking, self-injury and eating disorders (anorexia, mainly). I am currently struggling the most with self-injury and anorexia. I'm currently on the waiting list to enter a self-injury treatment center (SAFE Alternatives), and am currently being considered for inpatient ED treatment.

I'm a sophomore at the University of Kansas & a Sigma Epsilon Chi (SEX). I'm pre-Social Welfare and minoring in Applied Behavioral Sciences, and I want to work with kids and families that have substance abuse and mental health issues at an inpatient psychiatric or rehab facility or possibly a juvenile detention center. I'm just going with the flow, seeing where life takes me. I like to think I have a pretty good sense of humor and I try to be laid back. I just like to have a good time with good friends and enjoy life. I have amazing friends that I'd do anything for. If you don't like me, that's alright, I probably don't like you either =]
