I am an Aquarian idealist raised in the sixties, that rudely came to the fact just a year and a half ago that I had absolutely none of the answers. It has been a slow and arduous journey ever since, discovering the miraculous simplicities of a power greater than myself. Keeping focused on the will of that power, and staying in harmony with it takes a full-time, conscious effort.

The simple things of life; sunshine, flowers, the power and beauty of the weather, the miracle of eco-systems (a tide pool), any animal, kindness, smiles, the smell of baked bread, good food, a clean, warm bed, fresh clean clothes, honesty, fairness, hugs, little children, big children, riding horses, scuba diving, traveling, old people, every color in the rainbow, rainbows, stars, poetry, well-written books on many different subjects, learning, and did I mention hugs and smiles?

Violence, judgements, anger, physical abuse, hipocrisy, lies, disease, illness, pain, suffering, tornadoes, hurt or sick animals or humans, broken appliances, ice storms if I have to drive in them, below zero weather, 90+ weather, rap music, crowded stores, not enough money to get by, cleaning the oven and/or grill, yelling, knocks on my door after dark, when my car won't start, having to get up super early, when my hair needs a haircut, to hear about missing children or adults, being ripped off, when I need to get my glasses to read.
