Pretty open but love to put the car roof down on warm sunny days and listen to good old rock and roll. A remember when to more innocent times??

Half Time
Feed The Good Dog
A New Earth
The Power of Now
The End of Religion
Big Book

Like action packed fiction as well and most world office approved books.

My wife insists I like "chick flicks"! Must be a new me.
Bucket List
Sound of Music
Rocky series
Find seeing movies a hit and miss affair. Too many are time wasters and language beyond my limits!

A jock- but watch now more than play.
Grand kids, my kids and their activities
An absurdly passionate golfer (some may say addicted)
Servive work in my community and fellowship

recovery day 366 and beyond, Restoration of Self, Two Hatters, Just Like Meetings, Courage to Change

I am a recovered alcoholic/addict who continues to recover on a daily basis. Today my mission and passion is to help others and look at ways of improving recovery statistics.
I am a former business executive, certified addictions life coach, husband, father, grandfather, family member, group member, friend, mentor and student of life. Plus more roles.
I am grateful for the second and more chances my higher power gave me, and take time to feel gratitude daily.

The spiritual path that I'm on; concious contact, people who have the courage to take action and change, openess and honesty; my home group and my fellowship friends, being 61 with the good things (like grand kids) that come with being 61 and clean and sober.
Today I like me and life in general and that path that has allowed me to be of assistance to others.

People who confuse religion and spirituality and who need to be right.
Those who forget sobriety is 24 hours.
Closed minds.
Those who don't try and who chose to be "victims".
Negativity and pessimism.
Think there is a theme there!

Under the name Keith Bray Associates, we have been in the consulting business since 1990.
Hope & Serenity provides confidential, one on one work with people struggling with addictions or the effect of addictions.
Coached to Success works with clients on goal setting and action orientated achievement.
We hold clients accountable to do what must be done to achieve the goals they set, including freedom from addictions.
The Co-Creative Process of Life Recovery is our foundation with a grounding in the 12 Steps.

I act as a cheerleader, trusted confidant and mentor on a journey. I will share when asked.
Clients are coached on a journey of self-discovery through utilizing current tools and techniques and each client is treated with respect and their talents and uniqueness recognized.
Listening to clients deeply is the key!

Welcome and tell us a bit about you! Why are you here?

Hi, I'm Dave, an alcoholic.  Since sobering up I have imersed myself in the AA program.  I spend most of my time with alcoholics/addicts in recovery, and read as much as I can to strengthen my program.  I have visited several sites similar to this, and have found them lacking, in various ways.  Whenever wherever someone reaches out, the hand of AA should always be there, and a site like this is sometimes the first contact a person "thinking about it" may have.  If I happen to be here at that time, I would want to reach out, and do for others, what I could not do for myself.  Simple. The program of AA has done so much for me, and by the grace of God, I have had so many miracles happen to me since I let go, and let God.  In a relatively short time in this program, I have found peace, and serenity.  The promises talk about sometimes slowly, sometimes quickly they come to us, if we are dilligentlly working for them.  I have been blessed with so many things, and my life has turned around completely since the morning of my last drink when I woke up with a rope tied around my neck, and feeling so upset that even drunk I could not take the leap out of my 3d floor window.  The hand of God works in my life daily.  This program takes work, and it takes a decision to DO the things that the big book says will work.  Today, I live this program, and venues such as this might allow me to somehow touch another's life, as this progam of AA has with mine.

Thanks Keith for the friendship request. I just added you as my 2nd friend here on this site. I haven't really been around that much? That's why I don't know anyone. I spread myself too thinly on other sites. Too many other sites so now I am trying to delete alot of the one's I'm not gonna keep going to? I hope that we can share in Recovery and help others and help ourselves in the meantime. Thanks Debra Rincon Lopez (Debrinconcita) Sober life is great, God is great, his help is what I needed to Work it!
