Long haired, tattooed, freak, with another day clean. I'm from SoCal, ended up in MN, got clean there , and was able to return to SoCal SFV, "Where It All Began" to expand my career and increase my insight into my recovery. I work with adolescents in recovery, family therapy, and beat down insurance companies to give addicts an opportunity to get freedom from active addiction. Get your own countdown at BlingyBlob.com

Is this really a spiritual question? I think I'd rather answer what makes my spirit feel joy, peace, and awe. Sitting on my board waiting for a wave that may never come, going to a concert that I can bang my head too or groove in the pit too as well as sing along, spending time with friends and being in the moment knowing it may never happen again. Hearing a speaker share a clear message of recovery and relating to the insanity and being grateful that neither of us is in it at the time. Working with another addict due to their need for help or mine. Service work. Hanging with my sponsorship family feeling a part of something more powerful than myself and my addiction. Those moments when I feel more connected to my Higher Power than ever before and remember to be humble and grateful.

No surf, gloomy days, having to go to work when the surf is up, getting flaked on, people that share about all their crap they should be telling their sponsor in a meeting instead of recovery, people that hold a meeting hostage when they share, mixed messages about programs and primary purpose. Insurance companies. Clients that don't follow recommendations. Stress. Carne' folk who smell of cabage, LOL.
