I am 55, single(and loving it!), have 5 kids and 8 grandkids, a former nurse, and live in Melbourne Beach, FL. I had the gift of Sobriety from 1991 until 2001....decided I didn't need AA anymore....and eventually drank again. New sobriety date is July 15, 2007 (THANK GOD!). It has been a long road back into recovery---it is much easier to stay sober than to get sober again. Slips are not a requirement!!! I am so grateful to the program and fellowship of AA and have tripled my efforts to keep this Gift of Sobriety. I have worked all the Steps and Traditions again---and live them in my life to the best of my ability. My Sponsor is awesome, she has a sponsor who has a sponsor and I am blessed with 3 sponsees who all help me stay sober. Life is good and I just am so blessed:)

Spending time with family and friends, using computer, going to LOTS of meetings, swimming, reading, cooking, cleaning, reorganizing spaces for others, life in general.

Not having enough time to do everything I want to get accomplished everyday.
