I am a survivor of incest, rape, domestic violence, mental/physical abuse and my goodness, this makes me feel bad just writing it here...All of this had a huge influence on my drinking, using drugs and self mutilating...My life has been and is a mess...But I don't drink or use drugs anymore...I continue self injury and have done this since I was 11 years old...
I worked in Quality and Environmental Engineering for several years before becoming disabled in January of 2007...Now that I can't work, my mind has way too much time to remember my past and I struggle daily...I think that's enough of this...sorry...

One of my favorite hobbies is taking pictures...I have thousands that I have taken...They are for the most part "Nature"...It holds so much beauty and power...There is beauty in everything if we look hard enough...
I like to read, write poetry, journal, summer walks, spring showers, flower gardens, just anything outdoors...
I like to meditate, take long hot baths with lavender oils...
