Checklist:

Step 1 - I have admitted I am powerless over my addictions - my life has become unmanageable.

Step 2 - Came to believe that a Power greater than myself can restore sanity.

Step 3 - Made a decision to turn my will and my life over to the care of God.

Step 4 - Making a searching and fearless moral inventory of myself.

Step 5 - Admit to God, myself and to another human being the exact nature of my wrongs.

Step 6 - Be entirely ready to have God remove all these defects of character.

Step 7 - Humbly ask God to remove these shortcomings.

Step 8 - Make a list of all persons I have harmed, and become willing to make amends to them all.

Step 9 - Make direct amends to such people wherever possible, except when to do so would injure them or others.

Step 10 - Continue to take personal inventory and when wrong promptly admit it.

Step 11 - Seek through prayer and meditation to improve my conscious contact with God, praying only for knowledge of God's will and the power to carry that out.

Step 12 - Have a spiritual awakening as the result of these steps, try to carry this message to other addicts, and to practice these principles in all affairs.

"As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words, but to live by them." - J.F.K.

Girlie, you're not the only one who is overcome with pride. Its difficult to accept at times, and even harder to let go...

I'm so happy you are "turning it over to God"! Don't be like me though...I turn it over and then say, "Whoops, I want that back." :) I have to work on the trusting God department.

I'm glad you are here and thank you for the note!
